The business records of the Maternity Care Coalition (MCC), a Philadelphia-based organization devoted to preventing infant
mortality. Founded in 1980, the Maternity Care Coalition continued to operate at the time of the donation in 2009. The bulk
of the materials comprise community outreach and client education materials, research materials, and publications. Also present
within the collection are newspaper clippings, a number of media appearances captured on VHS, reel-to-reel, and audio cassettes,
as well as a series of photographs that span the years 1985 to 2005.
