Lillian S. Brunner, author and educator, is a native Pennsylvanian who is known nationally and internationally for her contributions
to nursing practice, particularly in the area of medical surgical nursing. She is perhaps best known for writing Textbook
of Medical and Surgical Nursing and The Lippincott Manual of Nursing Practice. This collection documents Brunner's professional
nursing and writing experience and her association and membership with various institutions she attended or served. Also included
are her articles, awards and photographs.
