Test of this note. Richard V. Wellman was born in 1922 . He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1949, later teaching there until 1973. In 1974, he joined the faculty of the University of Georgia Law School where he taught as the Alston Professor of Law Emeritus until his retirement in 1990. Wellman was most noted for his contributions to the Uniform Probate Code during his time as Chief Reporter, Education Director, and Executive Director. He was also a life member with the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.
