This collection contains two travel journals from England in 1816 probably created by Henry Wansey. Each journal contains
notes and observations about the author’s travels through England and the second volume includes an “Alphabetical Index of
Towns and Commercial Inns” and a table of the distances traveled.

James H. Causten, Jr. (1818-1856) was a Baltimore physician who traveled to France and England from May 1845 to March 1846.
His diary describes his experiences on the voyage across the Atlantic and his visits to France and England, where he explored
museums, churches, and the architecture of the cities; as well as observing operations in various hospitals.
