Photograph is in a book with a description beneath ; printed description: "(II. Chronicles, xxxv:20.)--'After all this, when
Josiah had prepared the temple, Necho, king of Egypt, came up to fight against Charchemish by Euphrates: and Josiah went out
against him.' Necho was one of the Pharaohs of Egypt. This view of the Hall of the Royal Mummies, Gizeh Museum, is given because
it contains the remains of many of the Egyptian kings. This hall is one of the large rooms in the Palace of Gizeh, a building
which is said to have been erected at a cost of nearly twenty-five million dollars. It was built as a harem for the great
Egyptian Pasha who assisted DeLesseps in opening the Suez canal, and who brought such a load of debt upon Egypt that he was
deposed by the Sultan and taken to Constantinople. This building was confiscated by the government and is now used to house
the valuable collection of Egyptian antiquities which make up the marvelous contents of the museum." See 5132BAI/LVi50CAJS
