43 leaves : paper ; 230 x 294 mm. bound to 238 x 294 mm.
46 pieces for keyboard, chiefly arranged from orchestral music, copied by Francis Hopkinson. Also includes a printed leaf pasted to the inside upper cover; a scale for the violoncello (p. 82); and "A riddle" in 26 lines of verse (p. 84).

Pagination: Paper, 43; 1-27, [i, 28-85]; contemporary pagination in ink, modern pagination in pencil, upper outer corners.
Binding: Contemporary boards, completely detached. Paper is fragile and stained.
Origin: Written in Philadelphia, circa 1760.
