Binding: 15th-century German blind stamped calf over boards (rebacked, ca. 19th century). Leather split, cracked and crumbling,
especially on spine; lower cover completely detached, upper cover nearly detached.
Origin: Written in Germany in the late 15th century. Text of the Pfeuffer work is dated 1477 in colophon (f. 307r).
Some early folios show evidence of water damage.
Folio 307 has been almost completely cut out of the codex. Five other leaves appear to have been cut out between f. 307-308,
but there is no evidence that they contained text. Evidently these leaves were cut out before the folio numbers were added.
