Dedication (f. 3r-4v) dated at Rome, 20 December 1571.
Foliation: Paper, i (modern paper) + 123 + i (modern paper); [1-123]; modern foliation in pencil, upper right recto.
Layout: Written in 18 long lines.
Script: Written in a cursive script by a single hand; another hand appears responsible for the pen trials (with content related to Roman history) on the last leaf (f. 123v).
Binding: Gilt morocco.
Origin: Written in Italy in the early 16th century (Zacour-Hirsch).
Edges and spine of cover show wear. Many leaves stained, especially at outer edge.
An edition of this work was published in Rome in 1606 by L. Zannetti, edited by Ambrosio Lisci.
