Summary:
A chronicle of events in Florence from the assasination of Alessandro de' Medici in 1537 to 1555. One or more pages seem to be missing from the beginning. The chronicle appears to be unique and is especially rich in descriptions of civic festivals, it also has texts, and in one instance a musical score (f. 48v), for songs. It seems to contain interesting political gossip and some unfamiliar details of Alessandro's assassination (according to article by Cutolo).
