Considered the essence (sāra) of the original Sanskrit epic poem; contains an example of child marriage where the literary figures Rāma and Sītā are married at fifteen and six years old respectively.

Written in 11 lines per leaf.
12 leaves foliated 1-12, upper left and lower right verso.
Colophon: iti śrī agniveśamurnināviṃracitaṃ śrīrāmāyaṇasārasaṃpūrṇam śrīsaṃ[va]t 1922 // cha // (f. 12v).
Dated saṃvat 1922 (1865) (f. 12v).
