Śivasahasranāma, 1827.

Text praising one thousand names of the Hindu deity Śiva, especially his passive form as Sadāśiva, to be used in private or public devotion and worship (pūjā) of Śiva and positing him as the highest reality in the universe. Presented as a dialogue between the deity Kṛṣṇa and the legendary figures Mārkaṇḍeya and Vyāsā.

41 leaves foliated [i], 1-40, upper left and lower right verso.
Colophon: iti śrīmatpadme mahāpurāṇe uttarabhāge bilvakeśvaramāhātmye śrīkṛṣṇamārkaṃḍeyasaṃvāde dasārākhyaparamadivyasahasranāmaikanavatitamodhyāyaḥ (f. 39r) saṃvat 1880 śake 1745 varṣeparāṃjape upanāmakadhoṃdabhaṭṭena likhitaṃ śivaṃ // śloka 285 (f. 39v).
Dated saṃvat 1880 and śaka 1745 (1827) (f. 39v).
Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; double vertical lines in red mark borders throughout. Decorative floral borders on two folios (f. 1v and f. 40v).
