Manuscript is a kind of manual and astrological/cosmological treatise used for contemplation and consultation for the purpose of divination and inward contemplation through a reading and correlation of planetary tables, an understanding of the different regions (varṣa) of the earth, etc.

Title from colophon (f. 15v); alternate title Nīlakaṇṭhī supplied by cataloger.
Written in 8-11 lines per leaf.
15 leaves foliated 1-15, upper left and lower right verso.
Colophon: iti śrī daivajñānaṃtaṃsutadaivattaśrīnīlakaṃṭhaviracitaṃ saṃjñātaṃtraṃ samāptaṃ // śrīsaṃvat 1855 śāke 1720 caitra śukladvitīyā caṃdre upādhyālakṣmaṇe naleśvakaḥ samāptaḥ // (f. 15v).
Dated saṃvat 1855 (1798) (f. 15v).
