1 item (30 leaves) : paper ; 12 x 26 cm.
Manuscript is used for contemplation and study and is a Hindu philosophical treatise and commentary (dīpikā) from the perspective of Advaita Vedānta on the Praśnopaniṣad, a late Vedic work that addresses early concepts of the Self (ātman) and poses a series of questions (praśna) and answers between students and their teacher. In the process the work addresses and offers an interpretation of early social and ritual action.
Title from colophon (f. 30v); alternate title Praśnopaniṣadvyākhyā from original sale wrapper.
Written in 8-9 lines per leaf.
30 leaves foliated 1-30, lower right verso.
Colophon: ity ānaṃdātmapūjyaṃ pādādīkṣyasya śrīśaṃkarānaṃdabhagavataḥ kṛtaupraśnopaniṣaddīp[ikā] (f. 30v).
