Manuscript is used for contemplation and study and is a treatise and commentary on logic from the perspective of the Nyāya school of Hindu philosophy; the text is a commentary (dīpikā) on the Siddhāntamañjarī by Nṛsiṃha Pañchānana.
Title from title page (f. 1r); alternate title Tarkaprakāṣa, from title abbreviations in upper left margins through part of manuscript; alternate title Siddhāntamañjarīṭīkā from abbreviations in margins.
Written in 8-13 lines per leaf.
50 leaves foliated 1-50, upper left and lower right verso.
Mistakes covered over in yellow or blacked out; some corrections and additions in margins; significant syllables, words, or phrases highlighted in red throughout; vertical margins marked with double red line near the end of the manuscript.
A single wooden board with beveled edges supports the manuscript.
Watermarks with the name Bernardo and a floral design, possibly part of a coat of arms.
