Culinary recipes for catchup, vinegar, breakfast cakes, french bread, hams, black pudding, dried apples, sea biscuits, sauces, soups, cheeses, preserves, etc. plus medicinal and household recipes.

Pagination: Paper, 54; [1-54]; modern foliation in pencil, upper right recto. Recipes on f. 52-54 written upside down and in reverse; f. 33-51 blank.
Script: Written in a cursive script by several hands.
Binding: Contemporary quarter parchment and marbled boards.
Origin: Written in England in 1780 (note, inside upper cover).
