Summary:
Proclaims the benefits of reciting this stotra dedicated to the elephant-headed, Hindu deity Gaṇeśa; gives this god agency for the defeat of a number of well known demons such as Hiraṇyakaśipu, Tāra, and Mahiṣa, typically related to the mythology of other deities. Merits of worship (pūjā) of Gaṇeśa also discussed.
