right recto (f. 12-55 with early foliation in roman numerals, 1-44). Catchwords on gatherings 4-7 and 9-12, last verso, lower
center or lower right (f. 46v, 58v, 70v, 82v, 104v, 117, 129v, 141v). References in this record are to modern foliation.
Layout: Written in 22-26 long lines; mostly frame-ruled in faint ink, some with double horizontal bounding lines. Pricking
visible on one leaf (f. 24).
Script: Written in Gothic cursive script by multiple hands.
Decoration: Extended ascenders on a few top lines (for example, f. 11v-13r); calligraphic section headings (for example,
f. 13r-18r); frequent 2-line initials.
Binding: Original (late 15th-century) boards with remnants of original calf binding; remnant of a boss, central lower cover;
spine and clasp lacking.
Origin: Written in eastern France between 1475 and 1490.
