Manuscript is a Hindu law (dharma) treatise, employed as a manual for consultation, illuminating rites of expiation and atonement (prāyaścitta) and the proper rites and rituals associated with them such as different kinds of penances (for example, brahmakūrca, sāṃtapana, prājāpatya, and many more).
Title from colophon (f. 75v-76r).
Written in 9 lines per leaf.
92 leaves foliated 1-16, 1-76, upper left and lower right verso.
Colophon: iti śrīmaccitayāvanekelakaropabhidhamahādevātmajabāpūbhaṭṭaviracitā prāyaścitamaṃjarī samāptā // śrīrāmacaṃdrāya namaḥ // śrīviśveśvarārpaṇamastu // śubhaṃbhavat // (f. 75v-76r).
