Handbook, with many examples, covering basic arithmetic; weights and measures; proportions; insurance on property; partnerships in trade and cropping; simple interest; money exchange; and geometry, for use in school. Examples for "Division of crops" include shares for employers, overseers, and slaves; other examples are based on trade with the West Indies.
