Biography:
Nick focuses on developing services for undergraduates and helping them develop advanced research skills. He also works closely with the History Department, the Africana Studies Department and the Program in Asian American Studies; he provides library instruction, develops the Libraries' collections in U.S. History and Africana Studies, and maintains the African Resources Seminar Room on Van Pelt's 3rd floor. Nick holds a BA in Philosophy from Haverford College, an MA and M.Phil. in Philosophy from Columbia University, and an MS in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. He has published articles on the metaphysics of Spinoza, Leibniz and Descartes.
