Patri is responsible for providing library and outreach services to the faculty, researchers, and students at the School of Veterinary Medicine - New Bolton Center. She is particularly interested in developing new technologies to enhance library services and collections to better meet library users' information needs. Before coming to Penn, Patri worked on academic research projects at Drexel University and The University of Texas at Austin, where she excelled at creating systems and utilizing new technologies to organize data and streamline workflow. Patri has extensive experience in web design, is proficient in HTML and CSS, and has an advanced knowledge of multiple Content Management Systems. She currently divides her time between Penn and the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History, where she is working on a project to broaden access to women's history resources in the Museum's online collections. Originally from Wyoming, Patri comes from a long line of veterinarians and veterinary technicians. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Science in Library Information Science from Drexel University.
