J. Ellwood Lee was a prominent businessman in Conshohocken, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He manufactured medical supplies from 1883-1909, and then opened a rubber factory which continued to produce tires as "Lee of Conshohocken" until 1980. The Lee Tire & Rubber Company records, 1890-1937, includes records of J. Ellwood Lee's medical supply company, Lee Rubber & Tire Company, and some subsidiaries. Most of the records relate to finances, but there is a subsidiary's minute book and a small amount of administrative/legal materials as well. (View full finding aid.)
