John M. Creticos (1880-1962) was born in Greece, immigrated to the United States in 1900, and settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. John Creticos's daughter, Mary (1918-2015), was the founder of the Greek American Heritage Society. The Creticos family papers, circa 1900s-2004, include photocopies of deeds, maps, property and legal records, contracts, and financials papers such as invoices and receipts, and business records. There are also genealogical research materials relating to the Creticos family, as well as obituaries, birth certificates, personal letters, and newspaper clippings. (View full finding aid.)
