The Reporter is a local newspaper based out of Lansdale, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania since 1870. It was sold to Gannett
Corporation in 1980, and then sold again to the Journal Register Company in 2001. "The Reporter" photograph negatives, 1989-2000,
consist of images captured by The Reporter staff photographers for use in newspaper stories. It contains film strip and color

The First National Bank of Lansdale was chartered in 1864 with $100,000 in capital. On February 20, 1954, it was absorbed
by the Philadelphia National Bank. The First National Bank of Lansdale ledger and discount books, 1864-1900, consist of one

Geller, Jacob Stoll, 1846-1916
Extent: 5.5 linear feet
Jacob Stoll Geller (1846-1916), a retail merchant, public official, and prominent Mason, founded and operated Geller's Emporium,
a wholesale department store in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. By the late 19th century, the emporium came to serve as the largest
retailer in the North Penn area of Montgomery County. After Geller passed away in 1916, his business was briefly carried on
by his family though its success diminished considerably. The bulk of Jacob S. Geller business and estate records, 1888-1936,
is invoices for goods purchased by Jacob S. Geller and, later, the Jacob Geller estate. Also included are incoming business

Founded in 1873, the Knights of the Golden Eagle is a fraternal organization with rituals based on those of the Crusaders
with emphasis placed on the word of the Bible. In addition to giving moral and intellectual guidance, the society provides
relief to sick or unemployed members and gives survivor benefits to widows and orphans. The Lansdale, Pennsylvania chapter
of the Knights of the Golden Eagle, Castle No. 244, was established in 1888. The Knights of the Golden Eagle, Castle No. 244

The Lansdale Cemetery Association, incorporated June 7, 1880, ran Lansdale Cemetery, the largest in the Borough of Lansdale
in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Originally a for-profit company, it was replaced by the nonprofit Lansdale Cemetery Inc.
in 1964/1965. The Lansdale Cemetery Association records, 1863-1947, are comprised of various materials that document the history
of the Lansdale Cemetery Association and the Lansdale cemetery, including minute books, financial records, employee records,

The Daughters of America, still believed to be in existence, is a secret, nativist society dating from the late 19th century.
The society, which was only open to white women of "good moral character," promotes extreme patriotism, the public school
system, and the reading of the Bible in schools. The Lansdale, Pennsylvania chapter of the Daughters of America, Mary Lincoln
Council No. 168, opened in 1934. The Mary Lincoln Council No. 168, Daughters of America (Lansdale, Pa.) minutes and officers'
