The "New Hope Gazette" photographs and subject files, circa 1960-1996, consist primarily of photographs from the files of the newspaper offices, depicting people in alphabetically-arranged files. There are also some subject files on events, artists, buildings, schools, and other topics, containing additional photographs as well as clippings, pamphlets and ephemera, and other miscellaneous documents. Subjects include business and politics, especially the 1832 Presidential election, and the building of the Delaware Canal at New Hope.
