days David built his altar upon the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite, where the angel of the pestilence stayed his
hand. Here stood the first temple in which Jehovah dwelt. It was at this place that God said, 'Here will I dwell, for I have
desired it.' And in the sacrificial victims which for hundreds of years were offered on this spot, there was remembrance made
