This is nothing to-day but a little fishing village, but it has continued to bear the name it was known by in the days of our Savior, while many of the great cities of the world have disappeared, and thus this insignificant little town has continued to bear witness and to keep alive the memory of Mary Magdalene. Here it was that the grace of the Redeemer was shown in transforming into a sweet and lovely saint a woman whose name perhaps would never have been known but for the fact that she came into the presence of the Son of God and the Son of Man."
